My Story
Saltflower Studio Art grew from a lifelong love of the sea and a belief that art has the power to slow us down, lift our spirits and help us reconnect with places that feel like home.
Living in Devon and exploring the coastline of the South West, I find endless inspiration in the changing tides, colourful harbours, dramatic cliffs and ever changing light.
Whether I’m walking the beach with my sketchbook or watching the sea from the cliff tops, these places shape everything I create.
My work is rooted in two distinct but connected collections.
My original paintings explore the quieter side of the coast focusing on soft horizons and the ever changing light. Alongside these, my illustrations celebrate the coast with bold colour, playful detail and a sense of joy inspired by seaside adventures.
